About Mechanical Fitting Roles

Mechanical Fitters play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of heavy machinery and equipment.

As part of our workshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair tasks on complex mechanical systems, including crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, chutes, hydraulics, and other fixed plant components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of heavy machinery
  • Carrying out routine inspections and troubleshooting
  • Working with complex mechanical systems and interpreting drawings and instructions
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter who possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of mechanical principles.

The ideal candidate will have an appropriate Australian qualification, experience working with complex mechanical systems, a WA Driver's Licence, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred but not essential qualifications include First Aid or Senior First Aid Certificate, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Elevated Work Platform competency, and Dogging & Rigging competency.
