About the Role

We are seeking an experienced primary tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Bossley Park. As a primary tutor, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proven methodologies and individually tailored learning programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students in a small group setting, promoting literacy and numeracy skills
  • Use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons, minimizing prep time
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and parents through strong rapport building skills
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and goals online
  • Provide verbal and written feedback to parents
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions a day, Monday to Friday
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching degree or be in the final year of your degree
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Demonstrate a positive, vibrant personality
  • Confidence using software and computers
  • Genuine love for learning and teaching
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to teach both face-to-face in our Bossley Park centre and online as required by management
