We are seeking a passionate litigator to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal support and representation to our clients, focusing on defendant institutional tort claims.

This position involves managing a variety of cases from inception to resolution with adequate supervision, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing legal documents.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing complex legal issues, reviewing case material, gathering evidence, and assessing liability and damages.

They will also collaborate with senior lawyers to develop and execute defence strategies, attend negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, and provide ongoing legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files, ensuring compliance with client service standards, and staying current with relevant legal developments and changes in legislation pertaining to institutional abuse claims.
