Support Worker Job Opportunity">

We are seeking Support Workers to provide high-quality care to clients in the Shoalhaven region.

As a Support Worker, you will assist with daily living tasks, social participation, and provide emotional support to our clients. You will work in the client's home using a mobile work model and electronic administration system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)
  • Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments
  • Assistance with household tasks (cleaning, meal preparation)
  • Assisting with supervising medication administration
  • Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)

Requirements:

  • Genuine passion to work alongside participants and make a positive difference in their lives
  • Reliability
  • Professional or lived experience in Disability, Aged Care or related field is highly regarded
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field
  • Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods
  • Excellent communication skills, commitment to person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
  • Resilience and compassion
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current National Police check
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
  • The right to work in Australia

Working Arrangements:

  • Casual hours
  • Regular ongoing hours
  • Opportunity to become permanent/permanent part-time as your client-base grows
