Modernisation Electrician Role

This is an exciting opportunity for multiple Modernisation Electricians to join our high-performing team in Melbourne, Victoria. As a Modernisation Electrician, you will be responsible for managing the equipment installation environment during installation activities.

  • Manages the equipment installation environment during installation activities
  • Manages on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day installation and logistical activities
  • Responsible for reporting installation progress to the installation supervisor

You will carry out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards. You will also carry out the installation according to pre-determined method instruction and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manages the equipment installation environment during installation activities
  2. Manages on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day installation and logistical activities
  3. Responsible for reporting installation progress to the installation supervisor
  4. Carries out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
  5. Carries out the installation according to pre-determined method instruction and schedule
Requirements:
  • 2+ years lift industry experience desired
  • Qualified Certificate 111 in Electrotechnology
  • Experiencing managing critical breakdowns and key stakeholder's expectations
  • Motivated and self-starter who can manage workload and competing priorities
  • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
  • A customer service mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
