Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams. This role involves mentoring and inspiring team members, coaching them to achieve their goals, and providing an outstanding customer experience.

A key aspect of this position is maintaining a strong safety mindset and creating a culture of safety within the team. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and inducting new team members, as well as ensuring accurate stock management and integrity processes.

Proactive learning and staying up-to-date on pet care, products, and services are essential for success in this role. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating a fun and supportive work environment where team members love coming to work every day.

Other responsibilities include proactively supporting local marketing opportunities and sponsorships, as well as demonstrating strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing team with a positive culture.

Requirements
  • Experience in a similar store leadership role or a proven track record in retail management
  • Success in driving sales and achieving sales targets
  • Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing team with a positive culture

  • Ability to create a positive culture of safety
  • Demonstrated business acumen
