Swim Instructor Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swim Instructor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic programs department, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our swim instruction services, ensuring the highest quality experience for our members.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of swim instructors to deliver outstanding results. You will also have a strong passion for swimming and teaching, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Lead the planning, organization, and delivery of swim instruction programs, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and goals.

  • Develop and implement effective training plans and workshops for swim instructors, focusing on improving their technical and teaching skills.

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of swim instructors, providing constructive feedback and coaching to support their growth and development.

  • Collaborate with our aquatics management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive aquatic environment.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our swim instructors, fostering a positive and supportive team culture.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in swim instruction, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our programs and services.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a swim instruction or aquatic setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Passion for swimming and teaching, with a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction and customer service.

  • Award-winning AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification.

  • First Aid Certificate with CPR.

  • Working with Children Check.
