The Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer and team leader to lead our APAC Production Software Engineering team.

This team focuses on infrastructure, systems, tooling, and workflows that enable engineers to deploy, operate, and observe our vast network of highly specialized trading systems.

You will work closely with your team to support them on delivery, owning changes end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

As a leader, you will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to define the team's strategy and roadmap, executing that vision with your team, and ensuring the architecture evolves to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performance production engineering development team
  • Lead the creation and delivery of the vision, strategy, and roadmap for production management
  • Evaluate and improve the architecture of our production environment
  • Collaborate with engineers in Europe/US offices to drive convergence of production environments
  • Establish or improve feedback loops across all aspects of production management
  • Develop and deliver code to production

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering (Python beneficial)
  • Broad understanding of technology, including networks, hardware, OS, databases, web servers, and applications
  • Ability to bring an improvement mindset and critical eye to complex operational challenges and systems
