Corporate Affairs Specialist Role Overview

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead our brand and reputation management efforts, leveraging their expertise in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance the organization's reputation and social licence to operate.
  • Support government relations by preparing materials for key stakeholders, including shareholder Ministers.
  • Implement proactive communications initiatives to maintain a positive image of the organization.
  • Manage external events and contribute to crisis and issues management.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare high-level reports and briefings for executive leadership and stakeholders as needed.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and managing teams.
  • Ability to effectively liaise with government offices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
