Chief Financial Strategist

The Finance Director is a crucial member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for leading the Finance Department and contributing to the company's success and sustainability.

Key responsibilities include developing and delivering financial strategies and operational plans, ensuring alignment with company priorities. Additionally, the role entails providing insightful guidance, informed decision-making, and commercial acumen for the company and its related entities.

• Manages statutory, taxation, and audit compliance, as well as risk management and organizational governance.
• Liaises with stakeholders at director level and drives effective organizational performance through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Supports change and develops people and teams to improve capability, leveraging expertise in MS Office, ERP systems, and reporting.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• Extensive expertise in financial management, accounting, management accounting, and statutory, taxation, and audit compliance.
• Experience in the civil construction, infrastructure, or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and associated practices.
• Strategic planning, organizational governance, and risk management experience.
• Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen and commercial thinking.
