About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Uniform Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our Convention Centre operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our uniform and wardrobe facilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the uniform and wardrobe room, ensuring that all uniforms are clean, pressed and ready for use;
  • Supplying uniforms to various departments across the centre on a 24/7 basis;
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace health and safety throughout the uniform and wardrobe areas;
  • Monitoring equipment and responding promptly to any issues or faults;
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on uniforms, linen and upholstery as required;
  • Providing excellent customer service to colleagues and stakeholders;

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or event management environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels;
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts;
  • Basic sewing skills and knowledge of fabric care and maintenance;
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required;
