About Us
This is a unique opportunity to embark on a career journey with a reputable Financial Planning business. The organization operates as a pure fee-for-service entity, possessing its own license, and prioritizes delivering quality advice while catering to client needs.
The role is suited for an individual seeking to initiate their Professional Year within the next 6 to 12 months and demonstrate eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow in a high-quality advice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- A clear pathway to becoming an Adviser, featuring structure and support to commence your Professional Year.
- Participating in client meetings with Senior Financial Planners or Partners to assist with presenting Statements of Advice (SOAs) and managing client relationships.
- Taking file notes and uploading information into Xplan software.
- Assisting in strategy development and preparation of strategy and advice documents (SOAs and Reports of Advice (ROAs)).
- Maintaining high compliance standards.
- Managing the client file from start to finish, including overseeing the implementation of the advice provided.
- Collaborating closely within the larger team, including administrative staff.
- A structured career path is in place for progression to advising within 2 years.
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Paraplanner or Associate Advisor.
- A reputation for delivering exceptional client service.
- An understanding of technical concepts.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to prioritize and manage requirements.
- Xplan experience is essential.
