About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant/Planner to lead and manage planning and approval projects, and environmental impact assessments for major infrastructure, renewables, mining, and government sectors throughout Queensland. This role involves handling complex and multi-dimensional environmental assessments and approval processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Scope, plan, manage, and execute environmental assessment, planning, approvals and environmental management projects, ensuring integrated outcomes and high-quality delivery
  • Team Management: Manage project teams to achieve exceptional project results that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality project outcomes and enhancing client satisfaction
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, developing high-quality proposals to secure new business
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual with 10+ years' experience in environmental impact assessment or planning and approvals. You will have qualifications in environmental science, planning, or a related degree discipline, and strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.

You will be working as part of a highly experienced and dynamic team working on a diverse suite of projects across multiple industry sectors. In this role, you will develop your consulting, writing, project management and technical skills through delivering a range of planning and environmental consulting projects.
