Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team in Adelaide. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and other key tasks that support the company's financial operations.

About the Role
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for business units and corporate office requirements.
  • Daily process and reconcile group cashbook.
  • Weekly upload and verify wages journals.
  • Weekly prepare profit estimates for Export/Import.
  • Process and raise purchase orders for National expenses.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, including payroll clearing accounts and export/import ledger accounts.
  • Month-end reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Maintain the Lease Asset Register.
  • Participate in monthly stocktakes, assist in Annual Budget preparation, product maintenance setup, ad hoc reporting, queries, and special projects as needed.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent and be studying for a CA/CPA qualification. You should have a solid understanding of financial accounting and compliance issues, with experience in assisting with financial report preparations.

You will thrive in a collaborative team environment, displaying strong team-based values. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are excellent, and you demonstrate keen attention to detail. Moreover, you have a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and excel in time management, administration, and organizational skills.
