Urban Planning and Design Position

Responsibilities:

  • Generate planning and design ideas, conduct research, document precedents, and scale studies. Develop diagrams, render site plans, and contribute to graphic and visual production.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of planning and urban design concepts, building typologies, and critical dimensions.
  • Apply strong conceptual design ability to projects of varying complexity and sites of divergent scales.
  • Effectively communicate internally through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means.
  • Collaborate at a project team level by developing, communicating, and critically evaluating ideas.
  • Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments.
  • Participate as a junior member of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Professional Degree in Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, or Landscape Architecture.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Interest in large-scale planning, mixed-use development, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits initiative, process innovation, problem-solving, and decision-making quality with a high attention to detail.
