Lab Technician Career

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality results by accurately completing tasks.
  • Follow established procedures when sampling, recording, preparing, and analyzing samples.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide efficient service delivery to clients and customers.
  • Ensure the accuracy, precision, and traceability of prepared samples.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and refrain from using hazardous equipment that may compromise results.
  • Be available for shift work, including 7/7 D/N rotating rosters.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience and knowledge in coal sampling, preparation, and testing are desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel, is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a flexible team.
  • High motivation levels and ability to meet tight deadlines.
