We have extensive experience in coal analysis and provide high-quality services to coal companies. Our NATA accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) coal laboratories service all major coal ports in Australia, with significant involvement in coal exports, quality control at mine sites and power plants, and borecore evaluation.

Job Requirements

This position requires an individual to lead the daily operations of our coal testing laboratory with professionalism and precision. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing compliance with the Qld CMH&S Act and Regulations, reporting hazards, inspections, and safe act observations, completing incident investigations, ensuring effective communication with internal and external customers, promoting a work environment free from discrimination, managing employee and staff leave, completing activities and reporting in accordance with the Monthly Reporting Schedule, and implementing effective document control within the department.

The ideal candidate will possess RII competencies for light vehicle and laboratory equipment S1,2&3 G2, previous experience operating onsite laboratories, proficiency in MS Office, including basic spreadsheet skills, knowledge of writing and mathematical/analytical principles, and proficiency in all aspects of laboratory operations.
