You will be working under seasoned General Counsel and Director of Legal Services who will inspire, empower, and entrust you whilst supporting your learning within the legal sector.

The role involves:

  • Developing expertise in all aspects of the in-house legal function, including advising on commercial disputes and negotiating contracts.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts as required by internal stakeholders.
  • Conducting legal research on employment law and commercial law issues.
  • Assisting with large-scale commercial litigation and providing guidance on ad hoc employment, consumer, and commercial law issues.

We are looking for an In-House Counsel and Commercial Law Specialist who has:

  • Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW or another Australian State.
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to make commercial decisions.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on achieving outcomes.
