**Campaign Communications Specialist Role Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated professional with experience in unions to develop and implement engaging campaigns that improve workplaces and promote worker solidarity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Plan, create, and distribute multimedia content (static and animated information, text, pictures, video, sound) that effectively communicates union campaigns, industrial rights, member benefits, and promotes worker solidarity.
  2. Develop instructional materials (e.g., videos, infographics, interactive modules) explaining workers' rights, enterprise agreements, workplace health and safety, and other union-specific information.
  3. Design and produce visually compelling assets for digital and print media to support union campaigns.
  4. Produce high-quality video and audio content that tells workers' stories, highlights union wins, promotes events, and explains complex union issues.
  5. Maintain an organized archive of design files and content assets.

**Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working directly for, or in close collaboration with, a trade union, trades and labour council, or similar advocacy organization.
  • Qualifications in Visual Communications or Design, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print work, including examples of materials developed for campaigns, member communications, and worker advocacy.
