Key Role: Value Added Room Leader

As a skilled and experienced professional, we seek an accomplished Value Added Room Leader to drive productivity, quality, and efficiency in our fast-paced production environment.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the value added room. This includes ensuring adherence to strict allergen, EU, halal, SA, BSE, and other relevant requirements.

Responsibilities also include supervising production scheduling and staff to ensure seamless operations, maintaining daily FSQA systems, staying up-to-date on statutory export meat requirements, and participating in training programs as authorized by Plant Management.

Additional duties include performing internal quality audits, taking corrective action when necessary, managing inventory and stock levels, achieving production and quality targets, and overseeing personal hygiene, pre-operational, and operational hygiene procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities with demonstrated commitment to meeting food safety, people safety, and brand integrity requirements.
  • Sound technical knowledge of meat processing, including ability to maintain productivity levels and an appropriate skill mix.
  • Capacity to follow company policies and procedures, coupled with strong work ethic and communication skills.
