The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Specialist to contribute to the improvement and operationalisation of risk management policies and frameworks.

">Responsibilities:
  • Lead comprehensive risk assessments focused on technology assets, infrastructure, applications, platforms, and data management practices.
  • Identify risks arising from new projects, system changes, third-party engagements, cloud adoption, and emerging digital trends.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of existing controls to mitigate risks, proposing enhancements where necessary.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to establish an up-to-date and accurate view of key risks and the effectiveness of mitigating actions.
  • Support initiatives that embed a strong risk culture within the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of risk management concepts and best practices.
  • Ability to identify risks and provide practical recommendations and solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of technology risk, cyber security, data management, and associated regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong personal integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
