Research Grant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to join our research grants and contracts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing research grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation, and providing high-level strategic advice to researchers and management.
- Manage research grants and contracts from initiation to completion, including coordinating with funding agencies, researchers, and other stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation, including government and non-government research funders;
- Provide high-level strategic advice to researchers and management on grant opportunities, funding requirements, and research policy;
- Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture;
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration, program, or project management;
- A background in research grant support, preferably in a higher education setting;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders;
- Commitment to UNSW's goals, values, and policies, particularly equity, diversity, and inclusion;
