Job Opportunity

As a Transport Operator, you will be responsible for operating designated routes to collect residential recycling and waste utilizing specialized vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe operation of assigned vehicle and assist with loading/unloading duties as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to job tasks and performance.
  • Provide support to colleagues as needed, including acting as an offsider during transport operations.
  • Perform yard work and other tasks as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate willingness to undergo training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid HR License issued by relevant authorities.
  • Previous experience operating Side Lift vehicles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with basic iPad or similar devices would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team environment.
  • Capacity to work independently when required, while also contributing to team objectives.
  • General knowledge of local area, including streets, suburbs, and boundaries, would be desirable.
