Advanced Hand Therapy Specialist

Sonic HealthPlus is dedicated to delivering exceptional treatment programs and innovative rehabilitation techniques for patients. Our hand therapists collaborate with leading hand and upper limb surgeons and run joint clinics within their rooms on a weekly basis.
Main Responsibilities- Assessment and treatment of hand and upper limb injury and disease, including trauma, sporting, and work-related injuries
- Manufacture of static and dynamic splints and casts and complete wound care
- Liaison with key stakeholders and surgeons regarding the rehabilitation process
- Preparation of written reports
- Involvement in the Return to Work process
- A Degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 2 years' experience working within the profession
- A minimum of 12 months of specific hand therapy experience
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity for executing tasks with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work both within a large team environment and autonomously
