The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to $100,000 per annum, plus travel allowance and other benefits.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Sydney. As a Community/NDIS Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assessment and intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Training carers in communicating effectively with clients, and working assistants/professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes
  • Developing augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual clients' needs
  • Developing swallowing intervention and mealtime plans and training carers on effective mealtime management support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Certified Practicing SPA membership
  • Knowledge of functional communication and swallowing assessments, interventions, and outcome measures
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Current driver's license and registered vehicle
  • Other qualification specific to disability will be highly regarded
