About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care
- Perform minor procedures when required
- Maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- 2+ years' Veterinary Nursing experience
- Excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Outstanding organisational, communication, and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
