Your Responsibilities

The Café Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, which includes recruiting and training staff, creating work schedules, and managing team performance during events. Key responsibilities include:

  • Opening and closing procedures for the café
  • Setting up front-of-house and back-of-house areas for daily operations
  • Providing excellent customer service and managing point-of-sale systems
  • Preparing a variety of food and beverages
  • Leading and coordinating staff breaks
  • Monitoring staff performance and ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Completing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Managing the closing procedures, including sales reconciliation and banking
  • Executing all aspects of food and beverage services for events and functions

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar supervisory role
  • Barista experience is preferred
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and train team members
