This is a challenging role in the fashion industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing seasonal collections from initial research to final product.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and design seasonal clothing lines incorporating the latest trends and customer preferences.
- Conduct market research and analyse customer behaviour to inform design direction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet commercial goals and quality standards.
- Prepare technical specifications and work with production teams to translate designs into final garments.
- Assist with fabric selection, considering quality, cost and suitability.
- Ensure all designs meet high standards of quality, fit and finish.
- 3-5 years' experience in Fashion Design within contemporary or fashion-forward brands.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design software.
- Solid understanding of garment construction and fabric properties.
- Strong creative eye and ability to interpret trends into commercially viable designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
