Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing services to animals, working closely with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre- and post-operative care, animal pathology, emergency, and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email, and over the phone
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2+ years clinical experience
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of RX Works is ideal but not essential
  • Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia
  • A calm, friendly, team player attitude
  • Experience in team-based care advantageous
  • Ability to work well autonomously and also within a team environment
