As a Site Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on a major project in Canberra. This role is pivotal in supporting the project team and ensuring timely delivery of completion artefacts and closure of CARs and defects.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Coordinate tasks and engage with stakeholders to ensure the project stays on track, on time and within budget.">
  • Monitor construction progress, report delays and issues to senior engineers, and manage and reconcile the BOQ based on construction progress.">
  • Assist in final contract sum reconciliation with project engineers, report and track construction variations, and verify BOQ revisions align with CWPs and the Construction Report.">
  • Ensure timely delivery of completion artefacts and closure of CARs and defects, identify and communicate field issue trends to the Project Engineer, and participate in Lessons Learnt and Innovation workshops.">
  • Prepare material orders and manage material issuance and reconciliation, validate FSAM accruals with the Project Engineer for month-end reporting, and maintain accurate records.">

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.">
  • NBN or Telco experience is essential.">
  • Knowledge of construction and cost management principles, understanding of project environments and meeting client deadlines, and eagerness to learn.">
