
Strategic Infrastructure Asset Manager

This role plays a pivotal part in the strategic management of Council's infrastructure assets. The position involves overseeing the Capital Works program, leading asset management planning, and ensuring engineering excellence in project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and manage the Engineering Services team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Act as the asset owner for multiple asset classes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, strategies, and plans.
- Manage the development and implementation of Asset Management Systems and Maintenance Management Systems.
- Provide authoritative technical advice to Council, stakeholders, and the community.
- Deliver effective project management including procurement, contract administration, and budget control.
- Engage in high-level consultation and liaison with residents, government agencies, contractors, and elected officials.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of engineering principles. Experience in asset management, project delivery, and technical advisory roles is highly desirable.
