Accounting Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified professional to work in our business advisory team in Sydney. This opportunity is perfect for those looking to enhance their skills, grow professionally and work on diverse client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality accountancy services with accuracy and efficiency to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
  • Prepare company, trust and partnership tax returns, including consolidated tax returns for large corporate clients.
  • Assist with special purpose financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasting, KPI dashboards, management reporting and virtual CFO support.
  • Leverage leading accounting software to guide clients in optimising its functionality for their businesses.

Requirements

You are someone with:

  • Experience in business advisory within public practice, with a CA or CPA qualification (or actively working towards it).
  • Strong analytical skills: a natural curiosity to understand client businesses and challenges, applying your expertise confidently.
  • Proficiency in Excel and cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for training and mentoring others in the team.
