Job Opportunity in Threat Protection

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of Manager Threat Protection.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and lead a large group of professionals in a fast-paced environment, managing monitoring, screening and due diligence processes to protect the organization, clients and communities from financial crime.

You will:

  • Utilize high-level team management skills, operational performance planning and stakeholder management
  • Focus on improving team performance through coaching, operational planning and continuous improvement
  • Develop outstanding interpersonal skills and experience leading teams to uplift team performance
  • Grow a happy and engaged team who are autonomous and empowered to fulfill their roles effectively

This is a permanent full-time position with flexible work options, including a hybrid model of minimum three days per week based out of our corporate office.

Requirements:

  • Extensive team leadership experience with medium to large-sized operational teams
  • Proven ability to drive results, continuous improvement and foster a high-performing team culture
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to communicate to various stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of processes and procedures in financial institutions
  • Ability to cope and lead with varied workloads and priorities

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Finance, Business, Accounting, Criminology (or similar)
  • Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS): CAMS Certification
  • Active Operational Management (AOM) - or similar
