We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our General Medical and Surgical Ward team at Prospero Health & Social Care in Sydney and surrounding areas.

As a Registered Nurse on our ward, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and prioritizing patient and staff safety.

About the Role:

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to individuals on the ward, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Prioritize patient and staff safety, maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Lead and guide nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses, to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Educate patients on health recovery and overall well-being, empowering them to take control of their care.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general medical or surgical nursing, with a strong foundation in patient care.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality patient care in accordance with industry standards.
  • Showcase sound clinical decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Show enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
  • Have basic computer skills and proficiency in using healthcare software.
