Job Title

A highly skilled Electrician/Instrumentation Technician is required to join our team in Tumut.

Job Description

PHE Power and Infrastructure is seeking an experienced individual for a permanent role. The selected candidate will work on HV, HA, Automation, Minor Projects, and Maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant.

This is a 14 shift over 28 day cycle position with a mix of days and nights. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to upskill and receive additional training in Instrumentation.

The role is based at Visy's pulp and paper mill in Tumut. Tumut is a town in the Riverina region of New South Wales, situated 410km southwest of Sydney and 200km from Canberra.

Requirements
  1. Daily activities include HV, HA, Automation, Minor Projects, and Maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant.
  2. Industrial Electrical experience is highly regarded but not essential.
  3. The ideal candidate will reside in or be willing to relocate to the Tumut Region.

Key Qualifications
  1. Trade Certification/AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  2. NSW Electrical License
  3. High-risk work License with WP Class
  4. Working at Heights
  5. Current CPR/LVR
  6. Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License
  7. White Construction Card
  8. Certificate III in Instrumentation (preferable)
  9. Confined Space (preferable)
