We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and patrol all areas of the complex, including the casino, hotel, and resort, to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare for and respond to security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences, taking prompt action to mitigate any risks or threats.
- Complete all tasks in line with Federal and Territory legislation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Report and prevent the entry of any patrons who cause disturbance, maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in security and customer service.
- Confident in communicating with the public, as well as internal and external stakeholders, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner, with a strong focus on safety and security.
- Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Security License and Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
