We are seeking a Culinary Assistant to join our team at RAAF Base East Sale.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm, providing a great work-life balance.

About The Role:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of food handling, meal, and service areas.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation equipment.
  • Participate in stock takes and other inventory control activities as required.
  • Comply with site-specific safety requirements and report any potential issues.
  • Assist with basic food preparation as requested by the Head Chef.

About You:

  • Relevant experience as a Culinary Assistant in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of hygiene practices and the food safety program.
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
