Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a high level understanding of NCC/BCA and Class 2 construction related Australian Standards. The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in Highrise Residential Building Supervision, preferably with QA officer experience.

The selected candidate will be responsible for undertaking site QA audits, preparing reports summarising quality issues, and reviewing project quality to various levels of management. They will also contribute to the development of Quality Management Plans, systems, and procedures.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Proficiency in software such as Procore, Aconex, Microsoft word, excel or similar is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake site QA audits across Meriton's portfolio of projects and prepare reports summarising quality issues, observations, non-conformances along with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Work and support site-team members to close-out QA audit reports.
  • Review, monitor and provide feedback on project quality to various levels of management.
  • Document quality concerns and performance measurements for management review.
  • Contribute to the development of Quality Management Plans, systems and procedures.
  • Promote awareness across project teams and onboard training in QMP and relevant systems.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Control functions within online repositories such as Autodesk and/or Procore.
  • Provide reports, including compilation of Quality Committee minutes and quality tracking data across sites.
Requirements For Success:
  • 5 years Highrise Residential Building Supervision role experience, with QA officer experience an advantage.
  • High level understanding of NCC/BCA and Class 2 construction related Australian Standards.
  • Motivated, willing to learn and confident in communicating with people, both verbally and written.
  • Collaborative team player with positive attitude and ability to self-manage priorities, time and work loads.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, with software such as Procore, Aconex, Microsoft word, excel or similar.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or Civil Engineering (University or TAFE acceptable).
