A senior legal officer is needed to support the legal group in a 12-month non-ongoing contract.

This role involves working on legal and administrative tasks including:

  • Processing subpoenas and other complex legal documents
  • Coordinating matters heard in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT)
  • Managing online legal research subscriptions and training
  • Recruiting for legal positions within the group

The ideal candidate will have experience in the public service, strong administrative skills, great communication skills, and attention to detail. They must also be able to hold a baseline clearance and work on-site every day.

In return for their hard work and dedication, the successful applicant will gain valuable experience and have opportunities to grow and develop within the corporate area of APS. They will work with a supportive manager who prioritizes team development and will be offered a 12-month contract with potential for extension.
