Main Responsibilities
  • Aiding in the training and growth of the kitchen team is a key aspect of this role.
  • You'll also provide support to the Restaurant Manager in overseeing key metrics such as COGS, labor, and operating expenses.

Qualifications
  • Experience in a kitchen/cooking role within a busy hospitality environment.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and explain key kitchen financial performance indicators including cost of goods, labor costs and wastage.
  • Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of food safety concerns.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
