Cloud Solutions Architect Role

A highly skilled cloud solutions architect will design and deliver secure, scalable, and highly resilient cloud infrastructure for government and enterprise clients.

This is a strategic, hands-on role where expertise guides architecture decisions, optimizes cloud platforms, and ensures solutions meet the highest standards of security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of AWS cloud architectures across complex, large-scale environments.
  • Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Drive best practices in security, compliance, and governance across cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver mission-critical, high-impact solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and architects within the team.
Requirements:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security, serverless, monitoring).
  • Strong expertise in cloud architecture patterns, IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance, especially in government or highly regulated environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Australian Citizen with eligibility for NV1 or NV2 security clearance.
