Job Overview

The role of Campaign Lead sits within the Corporate Affairs team, responsible for consumer communications, corporate reporting, events, and stakeholder engagement. This position plays a pivotal part in building and leveraging media relationships to improve awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate and outcomes.

This multifaceted role involves leading the advertising strategy from conception to delivery for a new multi-year consumer education campaign, with the goal of boosting Australians' engagement with superannuation and retirement planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing comprehensive advertising strategies that align with market research and drive impactful campaigns.
  • Leveraging market insights to guide the strategic direction of advertising campaigns and content development.
  • Managing campaign planning cycles, including above- and below-the-line activities, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Providing expert advice and support on campaign development to senior leadership.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate below-the-line and earned media activities.
  • Designing and delivering effective consumer education advertising campaigns that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Responding to changing priorities, identifying issues, and making decisions to achieve key advertising outcomes.
About You
  • Possessing tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • Boasting at least 7-10 years of experience working with listed corporate or consumer brands, government agencies, or similar organizations.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills to influence decisions.
  • Able to work effectively within large, agile organizations in regulated industries.
  • Expertise in storytelling to bring brands to life.
  • Executive-level communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Able to manage high-performing teams by providing clear direction and coaching opportunities.
