This role will contribute to our newest campus, providing place-based strategic support and leadership in the School of Education.
About the PositionAs a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, you will work with a productive team delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education. This position requires a dynamic individual to engage with the community, strengthening partnerships with early childhood settings and schools.
The workload will comprise 40% Academic Leadership and Service, 40% Teaching, and 20% Research. Fractional appointments may be considered.
- Commit to community engagement and establish sustainable links between industry (i.e. Early Childhood) and us;
- Facilitate outstanding student experience and create an innovative learning culture;
- Undertake high-impact research aligning with our Strategic Plan, Future Fit 2021 – 2030; its goals include facilitating Personalised Learning Journeys, Empowering Communities, and Building Resilience.
You will:
- Promote community engagement and build strong relationships with industry partners;
- Develop and implement innovative teaching practices;
- Conduct high-quality research that informs our educational programs;
