Survey Electronics Specialist

The role of Survey Electronics Specialist is to oversee the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of survey systems and sensors onboard.

  • Responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining survey sensors and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment and networks
  • Support Online Surveyors with system integration and data flows
  • Maintain detailed equipment logs and assist with inventories
  • Ensure all equipment complies with project specifications and standards

This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to a technically challenging and rewarding project.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with survey electronics, sensors, and networks, as well as strong diagnostic and technical problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the party chief and online surveyors to ensure that all hardware is operational and accurately integrated.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of offshore HSE protocols and have held a senior level position previously.

Experience working with Sonardyne USBL/LBL, MBES systems, and network configuration is highly desirable.
