Job Summary

A seasoned and accomplished geotechnical professional is needed to lead our tailings group. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in civil or environmental engineering and relevant consulting experience working within a geotechnical practice.

The selected individual will oversee and coordinate geotechnical field investigation programs, write technical reports and proposals, and build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations, assessments, and analysis to support mine site infrastructure design, waste management studies, and dam safety reviews.
  • Develop geotechnical assessment capabilities using GIS, CAD, and Tailings Modelling software.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineers-of-Record on long-term operational projects.
  • Participate in national and international conferences.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Membership eligibility in Engineers Australia and either current or pursuing CPENG status.
