Job Role:

The Water Network Operations Centre Manager oversees the 24/7 operations of our network control centre, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of water and wastewater services across a wide geographical area.

This role involves leading a high-performing team of operators and technical specialists in monitoring, controlling, and optimising network performance through advanced digital systems, while maintaining a strong focus on incident management and emergency response.

  • 5–10 years' experience in operations management within utilities or critical infrastructure
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, telemetry, IoT, or similar control systems
  • Proven leadership in managing 24/7 or shift-based teams
  • Experience in water industry operations and regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, predictive analytics, or smart infrastructure
  • ITIL certification and an understanding of hydraulic systems
