Job Description:

The role of a Graduate Data Engineer involves supporting regulatory data processes in a hybrid work environment.

  • Individuals will undertake various data engineering activities under senior team members' guidance.
  • They will participate in requirements gathering and meetings to achieve objectives.
  • Graduate Data Engineers will develop, deploy, test, and monitor data engineering solutions with minimal supervision.
  • They will read and write technical documentation, articles, and diagrams using industry-standard notation.
About You:
  • We seek recent graduates (within the last 12 months or graduating by end of 2024) with a degree in computer science, data engineering, or related fields and a GPA of 6.0 or better.
  • Applicants should have no prior IT-related work experience or corporate office setting experience.
  • Ambitious individuals eager to start a career in IT as a Data Engineer working on modern data platforms are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent team players with clear communication skills and internal drive for engineering excellence are ideal candidates.
  • Broad understanding of data profiling, cleansing, transformation methods, Kimball dimensional data model, ETL/ELT design patterns, and data warehousing concepts is necessary.
  • Good note-taking skills and ability to follow up are essential.
  • Demonstrated good time management skills and punctual attendance to meetings and work are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and apply knowledge to troubleshoot and build solutions is necessary.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively is crucial.
  • Working knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud services, SQL, and NoSQL solutions is highly regarded.
