We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team of allied health professionals in Hobart. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to make a real difference in people's lives.

Job Overview

In this role, you will work closely with clients to provide holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and expertise, you will assist injured workers in recovering at work and achieving independence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Early Intervention and Psychological Worksites Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of concern and develop effective strategies for recovery.
  • Medical Case Conferences and Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with medical professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and case management.
  • Rehabilitation, Motivational, and Vocational Counselling: Provide expert guidance and support to help clients achieve their goals and return to work.
  • Vocational Assessments: Evaluate clients' abilities and potential career paths to facilitate successful rehabilitation.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • AHPRA Registration: Hold full or provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Occupational Rehabilitation Experience: Possess experience in occupational rehabilitation, although not essential.
  • Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Go-Getter Attitude: Showcase a proactive approach and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Certifications and Clearances: Produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: Hold a current driver's license and vehicle.
