A results-driven professional is required to spearhead the development and implementation of impactful workplace health and safety initiatives aligned with our national strategy.
This newly defined role reports directly to the Executive General Manager of Health & Safety and plays a pivotal part in shaping a positive safety culture across our operations.
You will collaborate with site teams, project leads, and senior leaders to embed safety into every layer of the business.
Main Responsibilities:- Partner with operational teams to deliver WHS services and achieve safety goals.
- Lead critical risk verification audits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and monitor WHS management plans; provide training and support.
- Champion our "Work Safe, Home Safe" culture across all levels of the business.
- Provide safety leadership and coach teams on incident management and response.
- Lead investigations and ensure thorough documentation and reporting.
- Mentor and develop your team of health and safety professionals.
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Health and Safety Auditor certification.
- ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training.
- Minimum 5 years of H&S experience in a similar industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team.
