Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Executive Lead to effectively manage Gold Coast Station resources and departments. This individual will ensure that departmental or operational goals are achieved, and processes and procedures are completed promptly and consistently.

Location: Coomera (30 minutes from Gold Coast)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and empower teams, including contractors and employees of various categories.
  • Provide effective communication, excellent leadership, regular performance feedback, and team building to maximize customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and team productivity.
  • Analyse day-to-day operational results, service quality, loss and damage reduction, optimum costs.
  • Maintain a customer-focused culture by implementing and managing initiatives and tools to achieve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Use standard tools and methods to ensure daily/weekly/monthly reporting, measuring, and control of resources, activity service performance, and cost.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and share best practices implementation.
  • Initiate and implement optimization programs to achieve efficient activities and targeting continuous improvement on incurred unit cost.
  • Explore opportunities to improve service levels in the most cost-efficient way.
  • Ensure all resources are focused to achieve high-quality service performance.
  • Ensure staff are trained, identifying training needs, and implementing programs and people development strategies.

Requirements:

This role requires:

  • Five years of experience in people management, preferably gained from an operations role.
  • Knowledge of optimization processes.
  • Knowledge of business levers, processes, structures, and finance.
  • Good knowledge of operations processes and related technology.
  • A proven track record of continuous improvement.
  • The ability to realize concepts in a can-do mentality.
  • Understanding of communication requirements in a multicultural environment.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in effective training, coaching, and people management practices, including leadership development.
